Children’s French
As a licensee of La Jolie Ronde, all my lessons for children aged 0–13 follow the award-winning La Jolie Ronde programme. The carefully structured courses and high-quality materials are developed in line with UK and French educational standards, with engaging songs and stories recorded by native French speakers. The programme is thoughtfully designed so children can join at any stage, whether they are complete beginners or already have some prior knowledge.

Join our baby and toddler sessions which provide a fun, playful introduction to French with the La Jolie Ronde programme through music, movement, and interaction. It’s a relaxed space for little ones to explore the language at their own pace — and for parents to connect over a well-earned coffee from the café!

A fun and engaging 30-minute session using the award-winning La Jolie Ronde programme, specially designed for pre-schoolers. Children are introduced to key French vocabulary and phrases through songs, stories, rhymes, and games — and parents or carers may find themselves learning a few things too!

Join one of our French after-school clubs for KS1 (Reception–Year 2), following the award-winning La Jolie Ronde programme. Through music, games, stories, and rhymes, children discover that learning French is both fun and engaging. The course follows the seasons and is carefully designed so that children can join at any stage, whether they have no prior French or already know a little.
This confidence-building course provides a strong foundation in French, giving children the skills and enthusiasm to support their future language learning success.

Each child receives an activity book with an app for parents/carers, which includes all the songs, stories and support for completing the activities.
Sessions last approx. 30mins
£10 per session paid in half termly instalments (+ £28 one-off payment for the activity book & app that lasts 1-1.5 years).

Our next-stage course builds on the foundations laid in KS1, deepening vocabulary and developing greater confidence in speaking and understanding French. As children progress, they begin to take part in simple role plays and are introduced to reading and writing in French, helping them use the language more independently. The programme is carefully structured to support steady progression, while remaining accessible — so children can join at any point and feel supported, whatever their previous experience.
Our next-stage course builds on the foundations laid in KS1, deepening vocabulary and developing greater confidence in speaking and understanding French.
