Children’s French
Learning French should be fun, especially from a young age.
All my sessions for children aged between 0-13 years are full of stories, songs, movement, rhymes, games and much more using the La Jolie Ronde programme. I have chosen their programme as each course has been developed in line with UK and French educational standards with high-quality materials recorded by native French speakers. It has also been thoughtfully designed so children can join at any stage, whether they are complete beginners or already have some prior knowledge.

A fun and engaging 30-minute session using the award-winning La Jolie Ronde programme, specially designed for pre-schoolers. Children are introduced to key French vocabulary and phrases through songs, stories, rhymes, and games — parents and carers may find themselves learning a few things too!

Join one of our French after-school clubs for KS1 (Reception–Year 2), following the award-winning La Jolie Ronde programme. Through music, games, stories, and rhymes, children discover that learning French is both fun and engaging. The course follows the seasons and is carefully designed so that children can join at any stage, whether they have no prior French or already know a little.
This confidence-building course provides a strong foundation in French, giving children the skills and enthusiasm to support their future language learning success.

Sessions last approx. 30mins
£10 per session paid in half termly instalments (+ £28 one-off payment for the activity book & app that lasts 1-1.5 years).

Our next-stage course builds on the foundations laid in KS1, deepening vocabulary and developing greater confidence in speaking and understanding French. As children progress, they begin to take part in simple role plays and are introduced to reading and writing in French, helping them use the language more independently. The programme is carefully structured to support steady progression, while remaining accessible — so children can join at any point and feel supported, whatever their previous experience.
