About Me

As a native English speaker, my love of languages began at primary school in a small after-school club — and I was instantly hooked. Learning felt exciting, creative, and above all fun. That positive early experience has shaped my whole approach to teaching today and inspired me to become a La Jolie Ronde licensee, using high-quality materials delivered in an engaging, enjoyable way.

I went on to study French at the University of Leeds, including a year living and studying in Guadeloupe in the French Caribbean. After graduating, I worked for several French-speaking companies across a range of industries, from soft toys to digital security, gaining valuable real-world language experience.

Now, as a parent myself, I’m passionate about passing on what I’ve learned and inspiring the next generation to discover the joy and confidence that comes with learning languages.
